Alternative Trips

For those visitors to the area who are not so interested in angling shorter boat trips can also be arranged to see the Estuary and visit Bartragh Island for a walk and a picnic where you can have a fantastic beach all to yourself.

Anyone interested in wildlife and photography may be interested in the fantastic views and the common and grey seals in the estuary which are very approachable by boat and offer a great opportunity for close up photographs.

Schools of bottle nose dolphin can sometimes be seen in Killala bay and will often swim with the boat.
